{"id":6704,"date":"2008-10-16T08:58:26","date_gmt":"2008-10-16T15:58:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/RealbeercomBeerTherapy\/~3\/422784435\/"},"modified":"2008-10-16T08:58:26","modified_gmt":"2008-10-16T15:58:26","slug":"realbeercom-beer-therapy-ibeer-suing-ipint","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.browbrew.com\/?p=6704","title":{"rendered":"Realbeer.com Beer Therapy: iBeer Suing iPint"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Steve Sheraton, magician and inventor, created a little application or the iPhone last year called iBeer. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hottrixdownload.com\/secure\/iBeer\/iBeer.html\">iBeer<\/a> gives the illusion of a pint of beer on your iPhone, and even allows you to drink it down by tilting your iBeer to one side, the way you&#8217;d drain a real pint of beer.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.realbeer.com\/blog\/images\/20081016-ibeer.jpg\" alt=\"iBeer\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Coors appears to have stolen the idea for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carling.com\/ipint_details.html\">iPint<\/a>, promoting one of their global brands, Carling. According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theage.com.au\/articles\/2008\/10\/16\/1223750202552.html\">news reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Hottrix, a small Las Vegas-based novelty software company, which now owns the rights to Sheraton&#8217;s digital gimmicks, last week filed a lawsuit against Coors, seeking $US12.5 million ($18 million) in damages for lost profits and the brewer&#8217;s &#8220;ill-gotten gains&#8221;.
